    Formation of Moon

    A large planet the size of Mars hits the earth, sending debris into space that forms the Moon.
  • Period: 4530 BCE to 4030 BCE

    Core Formation

    Asteroids crash into earth, disposing metal into the core of the earth.
  • 4030 BCE

    End of Late Heavy Bombardment

    Much of the surface of the Earth is solidified.
  • Period: 4030 BCE to 4010 BCE

    Planetary Cooling

    Planets migrated towards the Sun and back out, it is believed that meteors hit the Earth, bringing water with them that formed pools on the surface.
