    Mostly followed the ideas of the Qin but with a lot less brutality. Also were close believers of Confucianism.

    Era of prosperity, entrepreneurship, development of new crops and technology, new lifestyles and careers. Some improved rights for women. For women beauty standards and societal ideas started to be highly pushed onto them.

    39 years they tried to invade the Song dynasty. First time explosives were used in combat.

    Became the first commoner emperor. After he had become a monk at the age of 16 and was then thrown from the monastery. Then wandered and begged around China until he joined a rebellion (1352).
    Was kinda like the democrats of today and/or Robin Hood. Wanted to take from the rich and give to the poor.
