  • Salem Witch Trials

    The Salem witch trials were when people would be tested by; touched, confession by dunking, Lords prayer, spectral evidence, submersion, or pressing. being touched was a test to see if you would put a spell on them. confession by dunking is when they dunk you till you confess. Lords prayer is you can't mess up on the prayer. spectral evidence is where they need evidence to you being a witch. submersion they drop you in water if you float you are a witch. Pressing is where they put stones on you.
  • Mayflower

    The Mayflower is a boat that was tied on Plymouth Rock.
    The Mayflower was 1 of 3 boats to be used with pilgrims at this time. The Mayflower was also mainly used as a carriage from England to Plymouth rock.
  • Daniel Boone

    Daniel Boone was a hunter in the 18 century. he had a family in west VA. went on a long hunt in 1750.
  • the French and Indian war

    the war was about the french grouping with the Indians to get land. in this war the British attacked for the same land. In the end the British won but the french soon got revenge.

    the Boston tea party was the event that happened when tons of tea was tossed into the ocean and made the soldiers retreated. this happened thanks to the sons of liberty and the founding fathers

    after Christmas this event took place by crossing the Delaware river. this battle was a fight between Heshians and the contenental army . this war was started by the contenental army.

    the first battle British won. but soon their defenses fell. this was caused by low population and food loss. on the other hand Americans grew stronger with new people helping at camp. they also got more food supplies. this caused the Americans to win the war on October 7 1777.

    John Adams was the first ever vice president of the US and the 2nd President. his wire was Abigale Adams who gave him six kids, and one of them was John Quincy Adams the 6th president. he was also a leader during constiushinal congress.

    Thomas Jefferson was Vice President under John Adams, and was the third president. he also was a leader in the Constitution. was a best friend to John Adams.

    Lewis and Clarks joureny started in 1804 and ended in 1806. there plan was to find a water route to the pacific from the misouri and mississippi rivers. they did accoplished finding a route after all of the jurneling and long trip

    In the war of 1812 it was started by The US wanting to take land now known as Canada. The French didn't want this to happen, so the Americans started a war. this war involved Washington City being burnt down, but the Americans still won.

    The Gold Rush was about someone finding gold in the water and many people hearing about it. when the family's got there there was no gold nuggets just lying around, in fact they had to do hard labor to get it. though some only made up to 600 dollars a year. some people set up tents on the Gold fields to supply the miners with refreshments and supply for digging and panning. most the stuff from panning was done the quickest.
