The silo and deep well drilling allowed for resources needed for cattle/farm animals to be stored. This allowed for larger herds and resources to be available throughout the winter. -

The first gasoline tractor was invented allowing production of crops to become more efficient and less time intensive allowing for farmers to take on more land and larger fields.
