    -African American Civil rights organization.

    Jackie Robinson Hired to the Brooklyn Dodgers
    -Color line:Its the largest cruise ferry line to and from Norway
    -He joined the NBL after WW2
    -He wanted to fight anytime someone insulted him about the color of his skin.
  • Executive Order 9981

    -segregation: Being separated from another race
    -An executive order to abolish discrimination
    -It was and order by president Harry S. Truman

    -Thurgood Marshall: Associate justice to the supreme court of the US
    -Allowed African Americans to go to white schools
    -Some schools in the south disagreed with the governments decisions

    -Nine black children went to a white school
    -The black children need guards due to them going to a white school

    -People were refused service

    -CORE ended up abandoning the Freedom Rides, but SNCC continued them
