Don Shula played highschool football but didnt start and barely played. He adapted to the enviornment and got traded to the Baltimore Colts which was the biggest trade at the time and went from not playing in highschool to being on one of the best teams in the NFL at the time. -

Don Shula got expirience in the NFL by being a self player in the game and knowing how the game was played. He used these early years of his playing career into his coaching years which make his the best coach in NFL history to this day. -

In retirement, Shula has lent his name to a chain of steakhouses, Shula's Steakhouse and a line of condiments.He appeared in NutriSystem commercials with Dan Marino and other former NFL players. -
