We are all Khaled Said "The face that launched a Revolution"
The death of a 28-year old Egyptian businessman, Khaled Said was the face that launched a revolution. After Said was beaten to death by two police officers in Egypt, an anonymous activist created a the Facebook page Titled "We are all Khaled Said" in efforts to post what really happened through images and videos. The Facebook page is still up up to this date and it has well over 285,000 follows. -

Libya's protest against Muammer Gaddafi and the revolution were captured through footage and pictures which then were posted on social media to convey information nationally. Although, regime would shut down the web and cell phone services. Muammar's death was captured on video through cell phone. -

The protests again Yanukovych occurred in Euromaidan - European Square after Yanukocych advocated closer ties with Russia while the people were tied with the West. Yanukoych fled, but the people used tactics and social medias, Facebook's interactive map to know where to go and what supplies were needed. -
The Revolution in Venezuela
Television has been silent and limited to what airs for the protests as President Nicolas Maduro is pushing for a new constitution. However, the use of social media sites like Instagram, Twitter, Snapchat, and Facebook have allowed people in Venezuela and around the world to transmit and consume information on the Revolution.
