A Bacterial Disease that is passed on in sexual intercourse .This disease can affect the partners and/or developing fetus. This disease was reported by Europe in the early 1490's. Most soldiers and their camp follows obtained this disease. There are 3 stages to this Bacterial Disease. Primary Stage: Sores appear on genitals. Secondary Stage: Reddish painless sores appear anywhere on the body. Late Stage: Joints get affected and cause Arthritis. Arthritis is stiffness of the joints. ... -
Diphtheria
Diphtheria is a small infection by the Corynebacterium Diphtheriase. (Bacterium) Bacterium is in a large group of microorganims that lack organelles and nucleus. Diphtheria symptoms are chills, fever, breathing problems and barking cough. -
Smallpox (E)
Smallpox is a viral disease. Smallpox causes fever and Pustules.( They leave permanent scars.) A Pustules is a small bump located under th skin filled with pus. Pus is dead leukocytes.(white blood cells) Smallpox was brought to Amercia in 1721 by Zabdiel Boylston and Cotton Mather. -
Yellow Fever (NA and Af)
Yellow Fever is transmitted by Mosquitoes and becomes a tropical viral disease. This viral disease affects the liver and kidneys causing fever. Yellow Fever of couse causes fever and yellowing of the skin. Yellow Fever can also cause chills, general body aches,nausea and weekness. -
Tuberculosis (E and A)
Tuberculosis is an infectious bacterial disease caused by nodules (tubercles) growing in tissues such as lungs. Nodules is a small amout of swelling or aggregation of cells in the human body. Aggregation is a bunch of things grouped together. -
Malaria
Malaria is disease passed on by a mosquito. Malaria doesn't just affect humans ,but also animals. This disease causes high fevers, muscular/back pain ,and Anemia. Anemia is a condition where you're body doesn't' contain enough healthy red blood cells. The Red blood cells are important for your body because they provide oxygen to your bodys tissues. Cholera (E and A)
Chorlera is a infectious and fatal bacterial disease caused by infected water. Fatal means deadly. The symptoms are diarrhea,cramps and vomiting. The olny way to fight this disease is bye drinking lots of liquids. Short : Staying Hydrationed. -
Poliomeylitis
Poliomyelitis is a viral disease that affects nerves and leads to full or partial paralysis. Paralysis is not having the ability to feel or move most/parts of your body. Most people don't have symptoms from Poliomyelitis. Most people don't they have it but Polio does cause paralysis or even death. -
Cancer
Cancer is a disease caused by abnormal cells dividing uncontrolly in a part of the body. Their's so many cancers I can't name all the
symptoms bu here are some: Lumps, Skin changes, Discomfort after eating, Changes in habits, and Unexplained muscle pain. -
HIV/AIDS (A)
HIV stands for Human Immunodeficiency Virus. AIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. AIDS is caused by the virus HIV. HIV is a virus that attacks your immune system. You can get infected with this disease through blood, breast milk, vaginal fluids and semen. Amnesia
Amnesia mean lossing some or all you're memory. You can get Amnesia with a bump on the head or a disease. No matter how you get it you have the same affects. Of couse you'll lose you're memory. Sometimes it last for days, weeks, years or maybe all you're life. When having Amnesia you can't remember the past or new events coming up.
