However, the Spanish Queen Isabella choose to support the journey in order to find a quick way to India. Christopher Columbus failed to achieve his goal but, but did discovery a whole new world with it own resources and native cultural. Columbus originally only landed in Haiti and and the Islands of San Salvador.
