Discovery of the New World
Christopher Columbus discovers the New World. Christopher Columbus was a native Portuguese however was unable to gain support for his voyage from his native country. However, the Spanish Queen Isabella choose to support the journey in order to find a quick way to India. Christopher Columbus failed to achieve his goal but, but did discovery a whole new world with it own resources and native cultural. Columbus originally only landed in Haiti and and the Islands of San Salvador. -
