    December 31st 1999, is the date that everyone thought all the electronics would all shut down. Everyone thought all the electronics would freak out and stop working due to the date. The operating systems used for the date only used two digits and they were already at ‘99, so everyone thought that the computers wouldn’t know how to handle the date change into the 2000’s.

    Bush vs Gore election was very close election it was a back and forth election with terrible voting machines. Chads are the little pieces of paper that are cut out from a hole punch. During the election hole punches were used to mark the votes. The catch was these hole punches were not working well and the chads did not come off all the way so when the card were put in the reader,the reader couldn’t tell what was marked, and that caused Bush to be elected even tho Gore actually won
