Digital cameras share optical system, and the typically using a lens to focus the light onto an image pickup device. The diaphragm admit a controlled amount of light to the image, the image pickup device is electronic rather than chemical. However, digital cameras can display images on a screen immediately after being recorded, and store and could be deleted images from memory. -
