    Ethnographic Study
In 1989 the women of the coven did a study to show why their practices were important to their health. They found and argued that their practices healed women who have been done wrong by men like rape, incest, battery, and more. Rituals led by women were found to help relieve fear, anger, and help improve mental health and self-power.

    Transphobic Controversy
At a 2011 PantheaCon, Z Budapest excluded trans women from their rituals. During the event, Budapest made very transphobic comments stating "What will women own on their own? Nothing! Again! Transies who attack us only care about themselves." After the PantheaCon, many of the women in the coven distanced themselves from the coven and Budapest. One group in particular called the Amazon Priestess Tribe retired from the lineage completely.
  • Ordaining of Males

    Ordaining of Males
In 2014 Budapest decided to expand the traditions and add the ordination of males. While this goes against the original dianic tradtion, other branches of the Temple of Diana, Inc are still allowing/only allowing women.
