    I walked when I was a year old. (Biosocial)

  • Fears sleeping

    I was scared to sleep by myself as long as I can remember during this early childhood time period so I slept with her my older sister in her bed. (Psychosocial)

    I started Kindergarten at 4. I was able to do the work but wasn't emotionally ready for school ie crying alot due to be seperated from my mom. I went back the next year and did better emotionally. (Cognitive & Psychosocial)

    Middle Childhood (6-11)

  • Family death

    My mom passed away from a heart attack due to a prescription medication reaction.

    Did well academically in school although I switched schools at least 3 times. (Cognitive)

    I remember starting puberty in 5th grade which was embarrasing including having to wear a bra. (Biosocial)

    Adolescence (11-18)

  • Honor society

    I excelled academically in middle school so I was able to be in the honor society. As a member of the honor society, I was able to do fun events and travel to New York and Washington DC. (Cognitive)

    I made the cheerleading team which helped me to be more active and help me lose the weight I had gained in middle school. (Biosocial)
  • Friends

    I had a good group of supportve friends from 10th-12th grade which was a relief after moving and switching schools several times and always being the new kid. (Psychosocial)

    Emerging Adulthood (18-25)

  • Graduation and college

    I graduated was high school with honors and then attended college initially at Schoolcraft and afterwards transferring to Madonna University. (Cognitive)

    In my early twenties, I joined a gym and started to workout regularly and take better care of myself. (Biosocial)
  • Social Life

    During this period I really developed an active social life including doing things/going out all the time, traveling, having my first boyfriend at 19 and meeting new friends. (Psychosocial)

  • Graduation and the workforce

    I graduated from Madonna University with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work. I started my first job as a case manager for pregnant teens. (Cognitive)

    I had my first daughter at age 27. It was a good preganancy but ended in a C-section. (Biosocial)
  • Marriage

    I got married to a good man which was refreshing after some of my previous choices in significant others.

    I had my second child, a son. This was also a good pregnancy and I had a preplanned C-section. (Biosocial)

    I dealt with many changes during this time period including having my sister move away when I was 29 which was difficult because she was very helpful with raising my daughter, having my dad be seriously ill and in the hospital for a year while I was 30, having a great group of supportive friends, completing 5 years of therapy which was very beneficial and returning to college to start a new degree in Nursing.     I plan to leave my current job to be a full-time student at Wayne State University. (Biosocial)
