Second Congo War
Rwanda and Uganda re-invade Congo and set up rebel groups. This war is named "Africa's World War" because it is the largest war in modern African history. By 2008, 5.4 million have died. -

Joseph Kabila is Official
Democratic elections are held and no candidate has more than 50% of the vote. After the second round, Joseph Kabila is announced first democratically-elected presidence since Congo gained independence.
