    A democracy was formed inbetween adult men where they all were given rights, responsibilites, and equal treatment from the law. Women, slaves and foreigners were not considered people so democracy did not apply to them.

    Starting in Manitoba and later spreading to all the provinces, women in Canada were given the right to vote. Before this women were not considerd people or trested equaly.

    No one can vote till there 18 which, is the time where u become an adult. The arguments against votes for 16-year-olds are almost always focused around uncertainties. I think you be able to vote at the age of 16 because that's the year where your responsibilities come in, for example driving or your future in general. Before the second war the age was at 21 for voting.

    Democracy was first introduced as a system of political reform in 507 B.C. by Cleisthenes, who was the leader of Athens in that period. He referred to the system as demokratia, which denoted rule by the people.
