    I think the orange will be decomposed the most at 95%.

    Today we burried are objects that we had choosen. Today is March 23, 2011
    First we had to dig a hole about 8-10" deep.
    Then we had to burry the item that we had chosen.
    Then after that we had to mark were we burried the item.

    Styrofoam is a form of plastic, called expanded polystyrene. You use this product for taking food home form when you go out to eat. You drink coffee out of it to. Its bad for the earth and your health.
    Ways to recycle is if you have any packing peanuts then you can call local UPS and thet will take them and reuse them for shipping. You can also cut the containers up and put them in your pots when you plant.

    The weather for this week the weather has been warm towards the begining of the week and a windy. Towards the end of the week chilly and windy. A little humidity here and there but not much.

    The weather for this week has been cold in the mornings and somedays it was warm in the afternoon. There has been wind every day of this week. We have also had humidity. Highest humidity level has been 94%. Its been cloudy and it has drizzled a little.

    First use of aluminum in the United States wa in 1913 for wrapping Life Savers, candy bars, and gum.
    Ways to reuse and recycle are wash the aluminum and makes crafts with your kids. Also it makes great wrapping paper, and a good piping bag for iceing.

    How you can recycle a Sunchips bag is you can wash thme out and cut little shapes out of them and then put a hole at the top or in the middle of the shape and then you can put a string threw the hole and use them as decorations for a christmas tree. Or you could make a wallet out of the Sunchips bag.

    This weeks weather has been very windy and really warm in the afternoons and cool in the mornings and evenings. There has been humidity here and there. Its been very sunny through out the hole week. Clouds in the sky but only few.

    Its been cold this week and cloudy. We have gotten rain. Which we needed it has been really dry for the past couple monthes.

    Cotten is fiber that grows in a ball. The plant is a shrub that is native to tropical and subtropical regions. Cotten is spun into yarn or thread.
    Cotten comes in many diffrent syles. Clothing, bed sheets, and other things that we use.
    Ways to recycle are you can make old bed sheets into curtains or table clothes or table runners.

    My conclusion for the cotton is it did not decompose. It looks the exact same as whe we burried it except it is not clean. It is dirty. At the begining of the block I thought it would decompose about 60% but it did not.

    The regular chips bag did not decompose. I thought it would decompose about 15% but it did not decompose.

    The sun chips bag did decompose a little, but not much. I thought it would decompose about 50%, but it decomposed about 30% it looks like.

    The styrofoam is the same as the cotton. It has not decomposed at all. It looks the exact same as it did when we burried it. My conclusion at the begining was that it would decompose 30% but it actually decomposed 0%.

    you can use oranges in many diffrent way. After you eat the inside of an orange you can put it down your garbage disposal and after it gets grinded up it creats a nice fragrance and cleans your disposal.
    You can also put the peels in a pan and let the simmer it creats a nice fragrance to.

    The orange decompose at about 95%. Whe we were gussing about how much they would decompose I had said 95% also.
    The orange looke dvery diffrent when we dug it back up. Instead of orange and plump, it was black and very flat looking. It also stunk very bad.

    The foil did not decompose at all it looks like. It may have decomposed a small portion, but it does not look like it.
    I thought it would decompose about 5%, but it looks like mabey only 3%. Mabey not even that.

    When we dug up the apple it didn't even look like an apple. It just looked like mud, but we could tell from the stintch that, that wan't mudd. I thought the apple decomposed about 98%. My first guess though was 90%.

    The paper looked like it may have decomposed a little but not much. The paper was soggy when we dug it up out of the ground.
    I thought the paper would decompose about 75%. But it looks like it only decomposed about 2%.
