    Elizabeth Cady Stanton was the president and Susan B. Anthony led many of the protests. It was an organization formed in favor of women's suffrage in the US and was the merger of two existing organizations, the National Woman Suffrage Association and the American Woman Suffrage Association. It fought for women's rights to vote, and later the 19th Amendment passed which gave citizens the right to vote and they would not be denied because of their sex.

It was a crime to get an abortion or to attempt one, it had recently come back to the Supreme Court but was overruled. Wade was the change in how states can regulate abortion. This was a women's rights impact because women are the ones who hold the babies and have to make the decision of how they want to handle the situation.

Overall, women programmers have made progress in working in the field, but to this day are still paid less than men.

She has won awards for her influential onscreen characters that have shown women and people of color to be proud of who they are. Not only is she marching for women's rights but also the justice other parties deserve.
