  • Learning to Crawl (First Two Years, Biosocial)

    Learning to crawl to my mother across the room. I would learn to move towards my mother voice from across the room.

  • First Words (First Two Years, Cognative)

    I had began babbliing by age 1. My first word was "momma." Mom was excited!

  • Toilet Training (First Two Years, Psychosocial)

    Learned how to use the potty by myself. Fully capable of pooping and peeing without any help.

  • Bilingual (Early Childhood, Cognative)

    Learning how to speak chinese at home. I spoke chinese at home, while also learning english in school.

  • Left-Handed (Earlly Childhood, Biosocial)

    Learned to write my name in preschool. My mother found out that I was left-handed.

  • First Friend (Early Childhood, Psychosocial)

    First Day of kindergarten; made my first friend. We have been best friends since then.

  • Basketball (Middle Childhood, Biosocial)

    Began becoming interested in sports. Basketbal was my favorite; got my first basketball hoop.

  • Divorce (Middle Childhood, Psychosocial)

    My parents got divorced when I was 8. I lived with my mom, and my dad moved out.

  • Book Report (Middle Childhood, Cognative)

    Was assigned my first book report. It was extremely nervous to stand in front of the class!

  • Period (Adolescence, Biosocial)

    I had gotten my first period on my mother's birthday. I was extremely embarassed!

  • Detention (Adolescence, Cognative)

    I had been tardy to class a few time. After 3, I had gotten my first detention; mom was mad.

  • Homecoming (Adolescence, Psychosocial)

    Freshman homecoming, and first boyfriend.

  • First Day at College (Emerging Adulthood, Cognative)

    It was my first day at Schoolcraft College and I was super nervous and excited!

  • Skydiving (Emerging Adulthood, Biosocial)

    First time I went skydiving; it was so fun and such a thrill!

  • Moving in With Boyfriend (Emerging Adulthood, Psychosocial)

    First time moving away from home. Moved to Novi with my boyfriend of 3 years.

    Had given birth to twins. A girl named Lily and a boy named Ryan.

  • Cooking Classes (Adulthood, Cognative)

    Enrolled in a night class for cooking. Learning to make some healthy and delicious foods for my family.

    I got my first job as a nurse at the hospital!

  • Grandchildren (Late Adulthood, Psychosocial)

    I just became a grandmother to 5 kids; Hannah, Isabel, Adam, Trevor, and Brandon.

  • Arthritis (Late Adulthood, Biosocial)

    I began developing arthritis slowly in my hands; I used to do a lot of cooking and cleaning areound the house.

  • Alzheimer’s (Late Adulthood, Cognative)

    Alzheimer's began to set in. I have to take pills on a daily basis.

  • Death

    I died at home on a hot summer night in my husband's arms.
