    Arlington National Cemetary
    The Arlington National Cemetary is in Arlington Virginia across from the Potomac river. It is the United States military cemetary. It is 624 acres and there are casualties and deceaced verterans from the nations conflicts begining with the Civil War. It is divided into 70 sections with some sections in the Southeast and Western part of the cemetary reserved for future construction.

    The Smithsodidan was originally organized as the "United States National Museum", that name ceased to exist as an administrative entity in 1967. Ita now termed as the "nations attic" for is 137 million items. It has 19 museums, 9 research centers, and a zoo.

    The MLK Monument is the 395th unit in the natoinal park service. A 140 meter long wall has all kinds of his famous quotes and words from his speeches. The most famous quote on the wall is one from his I Have A Dream speech:
    "Out of the Mountain of Despair, A Stone of Hope" -Martin Luther King Jr.

    The Washington Monument is 555 feet and is made of marble, granite, and bluestone gneiss. It began construction in 1848 and was halted from 1854 to 1877 and was completed in 1884. The Monument stands east of the Reflecting Pool and the Lincoln Memorial.
