Jan 23, 1940

The Nazi's have finally found my Village they are beginning to take us away why would they do this what have we done to them. everyone from my family has already been taken i fear that i am next in line to go.

Arrival

They finally stopped us from moving from camp to camp i was really getting sick of being in a train why do we need to this all at once this place is even close to where my village is i believe but i have lost my bearings at this place called auschwitz.

Terrible things happen

When is this going to end i have wated hundreds of people die already and now i am getting worried that they kill jsut for fun most people dont do anything but slow down when working. I want to go home I want my Father.

Reunion

Jan 23, 1941

My dad has arrived he says that the rest of our family was killed by these terrible people and that we needed to find a way away. I keep telling him to if we just stay here and do what they want we will live escape is futile

Failed excape attempt

May 23, 1941

He had finally talked me into trying to run away with him and we did but it didn't work they caught us in 10 minutes after we got away because they have all the cars and things we were on our feet. For some reason we were not killed but beaten brutally which i felt was counter productive we can't work as good in pain.

Death of Father

He was trying to take a little bit more bread because he was hungry thats all he wanted. the guards caught him and they killed him why would they do that for such a little infraction.

Transfered

They moved me away again they say that the ally forces are advancing everyone is getting excited that we are finally going to be freed but i have my doubts if we will be able to escape with our lives.

Freedom

Sep 3, 1945

The Allied forces have freed us we are able to do anything we want i feel bad for questioning them about them not being able to save us. They gave us a huge feast to celebrate the fact that we are now free people

Leaving

Nov 23, 1945

They have given me the option to leave this continue and i have decided to take this offer and go to the land of opportunity to live my life and forget about the ordeals that have traumatized me.

Job

I have learned a lot from my years in american and i have now got a job as a banker and making a lot of money that i can eat a lot of food with.

Happieness

I have found love me and my wife are both holocaust survivors she knows all the trauma i had gone through and we are able to talk about it with each other if we need to talk about anything.
