ROAD TRIP aka SEA VOYAGE
At the age of 22 Charles Darwin went on a voyage along side Captain FitzRoy on the HMS Beagle around the world. They trip lasted 5 years total. On this 5 year trip he visited the Galapagos where he filled countless books about animals, plants, and geology while collecting thousands of specimens. which all help him in further study -

On this day in 1832, HMS Beagle arrived at Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on board a seasick Charles Darwin.Darwin geologize a bit around the city, climbing also the Pão de Açúcar, known also as Sugarloaf Mountain. he collect a variety of beetle specimen. -

Charles Darwin was extremely impressed by the large fossils. he also observed many animals such as maras, orcas, great white sharks, ambush seals and elephant seals -

Captain Robert FitzRoy kidnaps and try to stip 3 native people of the tradition culture. This was an attempt to start a christian mission but fortunately he failed. -
Falkland Islands
Darwin visited these island were is was to be described as desolated and wretched but he soon discovered a large variety of fossils. -
The Famous Galapagos Island
During the voyage Charles Darwin explored the Galapagos islands and noticed the same species have different adaptations in places.Each species of finch that natively inhabited the islands held different characteristics that were all different from each other. Same species; same familyWhen specimans of birds were analyzed on return to England it was found many kinds of birds were species of finches which led to his theory of The Origin of Species. -
Chiloé Island, Chile
while on Chiloé Island Charles Darwin sees Mount Oscomo erupt. He also experiences earthquakes in the wood near Valdivia. when he experienced these he concluded that it aided in the deterioration of the island. -
Mauritius
At first sight of the northern island, he declared: Mauritius was “eminently curious, and well deserves attention”. ... He can be said to be the rightful person to contrast Darwin's work. -
Cape Town, South Africa
He is memorized by stratified sandstone -
Bahia and Pernambuco, South America
he discovers a few more species in these jungles but he now extremely homesick -
Sydney Australia "G'Day Mate!"
HMS Beagle entered Sydney Harbour with the 26-year old Charles Darwin on board. Sydney was just one of many ports of call for the Beagle on its five-year round-the-world surveying voyage -

while here Darwin studied coral reefs to test his theory of atoll. -
