    Darwin travels to the coco's island and studies the coral reefs around the island. He wants to test his theory of atoll formation.

    Darwin is impressed by the geography of Cape town South Africa.

    Darwin explores many new animals, but becomes sea and homesick. The ship makes an unscheduled detour tp measure out longitudes, which makes Darwin upset.
