  • Falkland Islands

    Darwin discovers more fossils in rocks at this stop and he also see's brachiopods.
  • Rio Negro, Argentina

    Darwin explores Pampas. This is an area that has locals known as the "gauchos". The land consist of fertile lowland areas.
  • Chiloé Island, Chile

    Here, Darwin experiences an earthquake first hand by Mount Osorno. He believes that the earthquakes have been degrading the island for many years.
  • Galapagos Islands

    Here, Darwin will make many observations on different plants and animals. Some include finches, iguana, and tortoises.
  • Cocos Islands

    The Cocos Islands are where Darwin will study some coral reefs that inhabit the islands.
  • Bahia and Pernambuco, South America

    Darwin discovers more animals here on his way home.
  • Cape Town, South Africa

    It is here that Darwin observes the Table Mountain of Cape Town, South Africa.
  • Sydney, Austraila

    Darwin observes here that there are very different mammals here.
  • Mauritius

    Darwin observes the landscape of Mauritius. He notices that the plain is uncultivated and is covered in a lot of black lava.
  • Falmouth, England

    Darwin ends his journey and returns home from his long quest.
