Angelo colonists decided to write petitions to the new mexican government.They asked Santa Anna to let immigrantsa settle in TX once again.The settlers chose Stephen F. Austin to deliver their petitions to the leaders of the mexican government. Austin hoped Santa Anna would work peacefully with the settlers. -

Texas didnt want to surrender their cannon to mexican forces so they decided to start fighting anyways and ended up with texas winning;it started the war;and texas rebels condidence got boosted. -

Texas attaked the Mexican Garrison because there were fewer than 30 people and ended up winning. After this victory more people joined the rebel army. -
