My mother Cynthia Emmanuel has had quite an eventful life. In fact, the wisdom that she has now she can attribute it to her experiences beginning in college, her life as a married woman, a mother, and as a teacher.(This is a picture of St.Mary’s Hospital where my mother was born.) -
New Beginnings
CollegeMy mother, Cynthia Barnes Emmanuel, started college spring semester in 1979. It was the most exciting time of her life she was completely on her own.(This is a picture of my mother in her dorm.) -
Life Is A Compromise
MarriedMy mother married my father Boniface Emmanuel on February 14th 1986. Over 100 family members and friends witnessed their union. -
A Home at Last
Home After months of vigorous hours of working to save money for a home, my mother and father purchased the perfect three bedroom home in North Lauderdale on June 20, 1987. -
A Blessing from God
Baby On July2, 1987 Ashley Valianna Emmanuel arrived at 10:45pm. My mother had her at Coral Springs medical center. -
A Joyous Career
Students My mother started teaching in August of 1993. She believes every day since then has been full of wonderful challenges preparing students for their future.(This picture includes several students from her first year of teaching third grade.)
