Cybersecurity Intro

  • Cybersecurity Intro

Over the last few decades, people have become more and more reliant on computers. While this is great as it allows tasks that would be hard to perform to take much less or no time at all, there's also many risks that come with computers. These risks include security breaches, which can come from many sources, including viruses, email links, malware, and much more. As technology improves, built-in security for devices can too, but more ways to breach the built-in security for computers increases.
  • Cybersecurity Aims

The aims of this course include learning about cybersecurity, demonstrating understanding of cybersecurity, analyses of forensic evidence data, evaluating protection methods, and planning out a secure computer network. These aims are all important to understanding how cybersecurity works, and imperative in being involved in cybersecurity, as without knowing how it works, trying to solve cybersecurity issues will be much harder.
