The original country was the UK but Scotland always considered themselves as an independent country and were finally granted Autonomy for cultural reasons. -
US / Great Britain- Devolution
The 13 British American colonies were granted independence from Great Britain because of ecinomic reasons creating the United States. -
Quebec / Canada- Devolution
Quebec is a province which was granted Autonomy for cultural reasons because Quebec is catholic and the rest of canada is protestant. -
Central Powers- Supranationalism
A Political/Military group, The Central powers,being Germany, Austria-Hungary, and Italy was formed as a protective measure if France attacked them. -
Ireland / Northern Ireland
In the 1920’s the British Empire granted Ireland independence but divided the country of Ireland into two. This is because different parts of Ireland were different religions.

Was formed for Military/Political reasons involving USA, France, Great Britain, and the Soviet Union to fight against the axis powers in WWll -
N.A.T.O- Supranationalism
A political/military group in which if a country within NATO is attacked other fellow countries will retaliate. -
OPEC
Is an ecinomic group involving Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia to regulate oil distribution and price. -
Soviet Union- Devolution
Following the fall of communism in eastern europe, all countries that fell under controll of soviet control broke apart for cultural reasons. -
ICO- Supranationalism
ICO was formed for cultural reasons joining together Afghanistan, Algeria, and Bahrain that promotes islamic solidarity.
