The Seneca Falls Convention was the first Woman's Rights Convention held in Seneca Falls, New York. Its hosts were Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Lucretia Coffin Mott. The Seneca Falls Declaration of Women's Rights was drafted in a format similar to the Declaration of Independence to show how the men were oppressive as the king. -
