    Dancing in the woods
    "Uncle, we did dance; let you tell them I confessed it -and I'll be whipped if I must be. But they're speakin' of witchcraft. Betty's not witched." Abigail Williams. Act 1
    The girls are caught by Reverend Paris dancing nude around a crock pot in the woods in the middle of the night. They were lead there by Tituba and put a frog in the pot, killed a chicken, and Abigail drank the blood of the chicken. All signs of witch craft.
  • Reverend Hale arrives

    Reverend Hale arrives
    "Betty! Answer Betty! Betty!" Paris. Act 1
    Reverend Paris calls for Reverend Hale after his daughter, Betty, won't wake up after the dancing. Hale then goes to examine Betty and on the way he listens to a couple other peoples stories about witchcraft.
  • Girls start accusing

    Girls start accusing
    "I saw Sarah Good with the Devil! I saw Goody Osborn with the Devil! I saw Bridget Bishop with the Devil!" Abigail. Act 1
    After Tituba confessed to having dealings with the devil, the girls realized that they could maybe weasel out of this without getting in trouble if they confessed too. So they started naming off people who they saw with the devil.
  • Tituba accused

    Tituba accused
    "Did Tituba ask you to drink it?" Hale.
    "She tried, but I refused." Abigail. Act 1
    When being questioned, Abigail tells everyone that Tituba lead them out there to dance. Tituba is then accused of being a witch and is questioned. While being questioned, Tituba admitted that she had dealings with the devils but that she wanted to find god agin so that they wouldn't kill her.
  • The poppet

    The poppet
    "It is a Needle Herrick, Herrick, a needle!" Cheever. Act 2
    Cheever and Herrick show up at the Proctor house to arrest Elizabeth Proctor and to look for poppets. The only one they find is the one Mary Warren made for Elizabeth in court that day. They then find a needle in the stomach of the doll, where Abigail had been stabbed with a needle earlier. Elizabeth was arrested for practicing voodoo
  • Goody Proctor accused

    Goody Proctor accused
    (Pointing at Elizabeth) "I saved her life today!" Mary Warren. Act 2
    In court, Abigail accuses Elizabeth Proctor of sending her spirits out on her. But it is dismissed after Mary Warren says that she hasn't seen any signs of witchery with Elizabeth.
  • Mary warren accuses Proctor

    Mary warren accuses Proctor
    "Don't touch me! Don't touch me! You're the Devil's man!" Mary Warren. Act 3
    When things started going wrong with the testimony and the girls started accusing Mary Warren of sending her spirits out on them, Mary Got scared and broke. She was scared of being hung and of Abigail. She then accused Proctor of making her do all of this and having dealings with the devil.
  • New evidence to the court

    New evidence to the court
    "I have evidence for the court!" Giles. Act 3
    Giles Corey, Francis Nurse, John Proctor, and Mary warren show up to the court with evidence that the witch craft accusations were faked. They had a petition signed saying that their wives never showed any signs of having dealings with the devil. they also had Mary Warrens testimony that all the girls were faking and that none of this was real. finally they had John Proctor confess to committing Adultery.
  • Abigail and Mercy Lewis leave town

    Abigail and Mercy Lewis leave town
    "My niece, sir, my niece--I believe she has vanished." Paris Act 4
    Abigail steals a bunch of money from Paris and tried to skip town with Proctor. But when Proctor refused, she skipped town with Mercy Lewis because no one would go near her anymore because they were afraid of being accused.
  • Proctors Death

    Proctors Death
    "Hang them high over the town!" Danforth. Act 4
    Proctor had a choice to admit he as a witch and live or deny and die. If he admitted, his name would be nailed to the church door saying he practiced witch craft. He refused to confess because he didn't want to ruin his good name so he was sentenced to hang.
