Hobert was the earliest capital of Australia to be settled. It was a penal colonie. It is the second oldest colonie after sydney. -

In 1836 the town of Adelaide settled. It is a coastal town. before the british settled there it was owned by the Kaurna Aboriginal people. -

many free ssttlers had come to colonise in Australia. people from Gremany, Italy, England etc. Some people were even escaping from religous difficulties. -
Gold discovered in Australia
In Vic, NSW and QLD gold was discovered. People moved to the Gold fields from all over Australia and overseas to try their luck. -
