On the 26 of January 1788 a colony in New South Wales was found.In 1787according to Arther Philips commiission 25th April 1787 the colony extend westward from the East. -
In 1825 New South Wales
in 1825 the boarder of New South Whales was moved further westward to 129th meriden west. -
Swan River Colony
On May 1829, Charles Fremantle founded the Swan River Colony. -
Western Australia
On Febuary 1832, the Swan River Colony was renamed Western Australia. -
South Australia
On 28 December 1836, South Australia was proclaimed a colony. Its western border was the 132nd meridian of longitude east. -
North Australia
On Febuary 1846, the colony of North Australia was proclaimed, this meant that the northern border of New South Wales was moved. -
New South Wales
On the 15 of April the colony of North Australia was revoked and returned to New South Wales. -
Victoria
On the 1st of July 1851, Victoria was proclaimed a colony, further decreasing the size of New South Wales. -
Tasmainia
On the 1st ofJanuary 1856 Van Diemen's land was renaimed Tasmainia. -
South Australia
In May 1858,the western border of South Australia was confirmed at the 132nd meridian of longitude east. -
Queensland
Queensland was proclaimed a colony. It's western border was set at the 141st meridian of lonitude east -

The western border of Queensland was moved to the 139th meridian of longitude east. -
South Australia Feduration
The part of a New South Wales that was north of South Australia was annexed by South Australia. The resulting borders remained until after Federation.
