Magna Carta
this document was created to limit the kings power, this also ment that he wasn't allowed to be above the rules of the Law, this document also gave the right to a fair trial, and protected the nobles power & authority. -
Mayflower Compact
this was a document stating that the pilgrams would rule themselves, this was made to have order, and to survive. this was a well writen plan for government, and was signed by all 41 of the men. -
Fundamental Orders of Connecticut
this was a writen constitution for the state of connecticut. it had most of the rules and reguations of america in this day and time. -
Glorious Revolution
this is a time whenever the english arlement showed its true power by unthroneing the king. -
English bill of rights
this was a document that protected the rights of the englis people, this was a very im portat time in english history because this was when everyone was equal. -
John Locke
this man wrote a documnt stating that everyone is free, equal, and important. this man was a deep thinker and very smart. -
Baronde Montesquieu
this man was the creator of the idea of seperation of powers. that is when the branches are divided into 3 parts, executive judicial, and legislative. -

he wrote the social contract, this was a document saying that th people should choose the way they are governed.
