The Declaration of Rights and Grievances is the second and third parts of the Declaration of Independence. They are the rights of citizens. It says that the government has to protect the rights of the citizens. The list of grievances lists the complaints against the British government -

A convention of delegates from twelve British North American colonies in response to the Intolerable Acts by the British Parliament. The Intolerable Acts had punished Boston for the Boston Tea Party. -

Articles of Confederation is signed
Called for a national government. Having all the states work together. -
Constitutional congress opens
Called together to revise the Articles of Confederation but james Madison and others had another plan to throw out the Articles of confederation and start a new government. -
Final Draft of constitution is signed
The Constitution of the United States is the supreme law of the United States of America. The first three Articles of the Constitution establish the rules and separate powers of the three branches of the federal government.
