In Italy the renaissance are in full and many new technologies and ways of travel and communication are being intorduced. -
Marconi Develops "Wireless Transmissions"
Guglielmo Marconi was born in Bologna, Italy. He was the first person to send radio transmissions. He referred to it as wireless telegraphs. His first sucessful test sent the radio waves about a mile. The problem was it was only signals and not voice. -
The Invention of the Radio
In 1921 the first voice audio radio wave was sent. It was also developed by Guglielmo Marconi. This made communicating wirless now. -
The Rosetta Stone
The Rosetta Stone was used in 196 BC by the Egyptions to help translate Greek to Egyption. The 2 languages were carved into it making it easy for them to read back and forth. -
The Resurrection of The Roman world
Otto I king of the Germans is crowned emperor by Pope John XII. This revival of the Roman empire in the West, will be known as the Holy Roman Empire. Until the dissolution of the empire in 1806, every candidate for election to the throne must be able to trace his ancestry back to Otto I. The resurection of the roman ways are what starts the renaissance.
