  • ooctye and sperm meet

    this is when the sperm enters the body and meets the ooctye to start the process of birth During fertilization, the sperm and egg unite in one of the fallopian tubes to form a zygote. Then the zygote travels down the fallopian tube, where it becomes a morula. Once it reaches the uterus, the morula becomes a blastocyst.. 24 hours after this the baby will have its first division.
  • after 25 days

    after 25 days and after the egg has went through all the stages of division the heart chamber starts developing Your baby's nervous system is already developing, and the foundations for its major organs are in place. At this stage, the embryo is around 2mm long. The heart is forming as a simple tube-like structure. Your baby already has some of its own blood vessels and blood begins to circulate.
  • after 32 days

    this is when the arms and legs start to develop these stages move very fast By the time you're 8 weeks pregnant, your baby is called a foetus, which means offspring. The legs are getting longer. The different parts of the leg are not properly distinct yet. It'll be a bit longer before the knees, ankles, thighs and toes develop.
  • after 45 days

    Your baby, or foetus, is now around 41mm long from head to bottom, which is about the size of a fig. The head is still supersized, but the body is growing quickly. The fingers and toes are separating out. There are tiny fingernails and miniature ears.
  • day 52

    Your baby's ovaries or testes are fully developed inside and final tweaks are being made on the outside. The baby is moving around. At first the movements are very jerky and random but then they start to look more deliberate. You may not feel any movement until around week 17.
  • 5th month

    Your baby may be moving a lot. Their muscles are formed, and it may seem like you have a tiny soccer player in there. The lungs are still developing, and footprints and fingerprints have formed—they're even beginning to grow hair on their head! At 5 months pregnant, the fetus is about the size of a sweet potato.
  • 6th month

    Its five senses are already developed, it touches different parts of its body and the walls of the uterus, it swallows amniotic fluid for the formation of the taste buds, it begins to hear and differentiate sounds.
  • 7th month

    The neonatal brain develops very quickly, and the mapping of lines and convolutions (folds) begins to form, preparing it for proper human intellectual development. The muscles and lungs develop rapidly until they are fully formed.
  • 8th month

    When you're eight months pregnant, your little one is quickly gaining weight and fat, and he's getting closer to his eventual birth weight. The fine hair called lanugo that has covered his tiny body over the past few weeks starts to disappear. The hair on his head may now be starting to grow instead.
  • 9th month
