Middle Ages
The concept of childhood didn't exist in the middle ages, they called children ``little adults". The kids had to work like adults from a very young age, and didn't have the time to have fun nor self space or time to learn. -

XVI century
In this century people began to see the children as someone they had to civilize, as someone they had to protect and discipline. -
XVII century
Until this century the children were considered as little adults. They began to consider childhood as a "child sphere" where they can have their own space, games, and clothing that made them different from the real adults. -
XIX century
From this century childhood was considered a subject of knowledge. The State began to take part of the responsibility of children and not only the families, and they were integrated into the education system. -
XX century
The conception of childhood changed drastically. The child rights were recognized and the families had to change the way of parenting and recreational practices
