Invented by Samuel Mores to be transmitted over the telegraph.
It is a series of dots and dashes used to transmit words and numbers. The code has been altered over time and used in different languages. -
Tesla Remote
Nicola Tesla invents a remote control.
Making the way for more electronic inventions. It also laid the way for todays modern remote. -
Enigma
The German Enigma machine is used to transmit messages in code on German U-bouts. They have turning cylinders, and were originally advertised for commercial use. Even when captured by the enemy they did not help deciphering code. Machines had to be operated by professionals. -
Computer Theroy
Douglas Engelbart theories a computer that no longer uses punch cards. Punch cards are a form of hard copies. Instead it uses keyboards and a screen display. -
Chess machine
Claude Shannon invents the first artificial intelligence machine that plays chess. It knew the rules for the game and was programed with thousands of moves. -

Hideo Yamachito, from Japan makes the first electronic computer.
It takes up a large room, and has many things to monitor manually. This is a far cry from modern day commuter that continue to get more compact. -
NASA
NASA is formed in the United States, They relay very heavily on computers for their astronomy configurations. NASA stands for National Aeronautics and Space Administration. -

The first word processor made by IBM. It is small enough to fit on a desk top. it sold on the open market. -

The term Hypertext is coined by Andries van Dam and Ted Nelson. The word became used commonly in computers. -

Floppy disks are made and sold by IBM. They are called floppy disks because of there flimsy behavior, and the disk inside. -

The worlds first "super" computer was made by Seymour Cray. It is not as large as other computers before it. -

The first Compact Disk is made. It was a U.S. invention and would be sold world wide. C.D. can presently hold about 80 minuets of sound. -

Microsoft was started by Bill Gates and Paul Allen. Bill Gates goes on to be one of the richest men in America, and Microsoft sold world wide. -

Even though fiber optics are used in many places, there are still places that can be benefited by them. The fibers are very small and can transmit large amounts of data. -

Lasers are shown in fiction stories as a future wepon invention. Though dangerous lasers have been invented, the ability to make them a portable weapon has not yet been finalized -
