    1990-Tim Berners-Lee creates the first website and launched to the public in 1991. By creating the first website, technology has since been able to advance significantly.

    1994- Amazon was founded by Jeff Bezos. Although Amazon started as a bookstore, it evolved quickly to an online "everything store". Shoppers now can expect any desired item to be at the doorstep within 2 days. This has significantly changed retail shopping forever.

    1994- The Thinkpad 775CD was the first notebook with integrated CD-ROM. Prior to 1994, laptops utilized floppy disks. Floppy disks only have a 1.44 M capacity. CD's can store 700M.

    1995- eBay was founded by Pierre Omidyar. eBay was the first online auction site allowing everyday users to buy and sell products online.

    1998- Google was founded by Larry Page and Sergey Brin. Google has enhanced our lives in every aspect. We now have access to every map of anywhere in the world in our hands within seconds. We have news on demand. Hard copy history books are now a thing of the past.
