    1. California was admitted to the Union as a free state. 2'. The Utah and New Mexico territories were organized under popular sovereignty.
    2. The District Of Columbia abolished the slave trade but maintained slavery.
    3. Texas surrendered it's claim to New Mexico as well as it's claims notth of the Missouri Compromise Linr.
    4. The Fugitive Slave Act was inacted.
