I created my own email account and my friends and I would email eachother back and forth all day to talk to each other. -

Everyone used MySpace to communicate. I think it was one of the first very popular social media websites. -
Got my first cell phone
In 7th grade I got my first cell phone. It was very basic with texting and a few games but no internet service. -
Facebook
Facebook started to become more popular and everyone had one and that was a big way that kids communicated with each other in high school. -
Got my first smart phone
I got an Iphone and it was my first time having a phone that I could use the internet on. -
Imessage and group chats
Imessage and group chats on your cell phone are now a very convienent way to talk to more then one person at a time through your phone and to send pictures and links faster.
