Be Aware Of Other People Emotions

When communicating with others you want to be considerate of what is happening with them. You want to congratulate them if the achieved something, or give then your best if something is wrong. To make them feel comfortable you have to "make and maintain eye contact and use first names where appropriate. Do not be afraid to ask others for their opinions as this will help to make them feel valued"(Improving Communication pg.3).

    Communicating Effectively

I have moved a lot. So I have to have good communication skills to make friends. The first interaction I have with people when I moved here was soccer tryouts. I got assigned to pass with some girl that looked nice but I didn't know her. I used communications skills and we got along pretty well. We were partners the rest of the tryout stuff and now she is still on of my best friends.
