    Dated by 3500 BC, the stone features photo-cuneiform signs, basically rudimentary symbols that convey meaning through its pictorial resemblance to a physical object. Similar to this early form of writing are the ancient Egytian Hieroglphys, which dated back to around 3200 BC.
