Paleo Indians
The first Paleo Indians lived with there family. they used animal fur to stay warm. they also used wild berries for food. they built huts near river and lakes for a water source. -

Archaic Indians
The archaic Indians used a lot of nature resources like they used mud to make pit houses. And animal's for meat. they did not move around like Plano Indians only hunter moved, with the animals. -

Utes
The Utes are the oldest Indians we know about. The Utes lived in these houses called wickiups. when they got horses they hunted buffalo and made tepees out of there hid. -

Spanish Explorers
When the Spanish Explorers found the New World, they claimed it for there self. They found American tribes and raided them and took what ever they wanted. they killed most of the Indian and enslave the rest. -

The Cheyenne and Arapaho Indians were taken from there family and went to bording schools. -

The Cheyenne and Arapahoe Indians were taken away from there family and had to go to bording school. this mostly happened in the 1800 and 1900. but it still does happen today. -
Louisiana purchase
The Louisiana purchase is where the English bought some of the land we call home today. when they bought the land it doubled the size of America. -
pike's expedition
The pike's expedition was where mr.pike led the Expedition. President Jefferson told him to do this. -

This is where Mr. long explored this dessert and came back with a whole map of what he has found. -

The fur trapper would go and find animals and first kill them. Then skin them and take the fur off to stay warm and and to sell. the fur trader were different. They probably bought fur from the fur trapper to sell for themselves. -
Fremont Expedition
Mr. Fremont had found more moist soil good for planting crops. and probably good to keep cattle to. -

Mexico owned most of America today. Now America owns Colorado. you can find old artifacts if you are in the right place. After the war we owned this land. -
Placer Miner
The Placer Miners went over to California alone the way they passed streams in Colorado and found lots of gold. In this time Gold was worth a lot of money. -

The Lode Gold is a ore that is a mixture of rock and gold. to find people would get dynamite and search for ores. another way they looked for it is by making tunnels and hoping to find it. -

The settlers wanted to teach there children. so they opened private school. there was only one room! some kid horseback and some had to walk. after school they would probably go look for gold with there parents. -

The Woman Suffrage was where the woman were not allowed to vote for government leaders. Men thought they should stay home to take care of there children.the woman did not like this so they decided to have a vote of there own. -

The Civil rights was where black and white people did not get along. they could not get near each other.over time thous rules went away and new rules started to happen. today you can get on the same bus and drink out of the same water fountain. -
