Salem witch trials
Who: Women accused of witch craft
What: Started when a group of girls said they were demon possessed and blamed in on some women who did witch craft

When: 1692
Why: The people got paranoid that they were going to get possessed by the devil, so they just tried and killed people who were in suspicion of witch craft
