Plymouth Rock is located in Massachusetts. The Pilgrims left England to seek religious freedom, or simply to find a better life. they sailed on the Mayflower, for 65 days, and landed right next to Plymouth rock. now, Plymouth wasn't the monster rock it used to be. (no, this is not founded, it's PLYMOUTH that was founded, not Plymouth rock) -
The Mayflower Compact
the Mayflower was made on the Mayflower ship, and it was the first agreement for self-government to be created and enforced in America. this compact that only men could sign, consisting of separatist Puritans, adventurers, and tradesmen. -
Thanksgiving
the first Thanksgiving was in 1621 because the pilgrims wanted to thank the Wampanoag tribe for helping them survive, and served the food they grew. they ate waterfowl, venison, ham, lobster, clams, berries, fruit, pumpkin, and squash. this was the beginning of the long history to Thanksgiving. -

Pequot War
The Pequot war was part of the Indian wars. the people who were part of it were the colonists of the Massachusetts Bay, Plymouth, and Saybrook colonies and their allies from the Narragansett and Mohegan tribes. At the end, about 700 Pequots had been killed or taken into captivity. -
King Philips war
it was caused because of three of Philip’s warriors. They had been tried and found guilty of murdering John Sassamon. then they started a war. -
the Liberty Bell
The Liberty Bell is cracked when it is first rung in testing. the bell was created by the Whitechapel Bell Foundry. it was not fixed; they just made a new one. they finished the new one in 1753
