Roanoke
Off the eastern coast of North America a colony was formed. The mayor of this colony is John White. During their settlement they had a hard time surviving because of lack of supplies. So John vogued back to England in request of more resources. When he returned three years later he came to found the whole settlement had disappeared. House of Burgesses
Elected representatives from Virginia all assembled this was called the House of Burgesses. It was the first representative assembly in North America. Governor George Yeardley created the House of Burgesses under instructions from the Virginia Colony. The Burgesses could met separately from the government. Great Migration
In 1630, 1,000 passengers from England migrated to Massachusetts Bay Colony. They traveled on eleven different ships. This migration occurred because they knew land was freely available.
