    In 1587 colonist set foot on Roanoke. While they were there, they met the Natives. The colonist and Natives got along until the natives accused them of stealing. The relationship got worse. Drought, famine, and disease happened as the relationship got worse and the Natives ended up killing the colonist. Three years after finding it, nobody was there. Now, in today's age, it's known as "North Carolina".

    104 men and boys came to North America for settlements. Eventually, they picked up Jamestown, Virginia. They named the colony after their king, James 1.
