After the consummation of the National Constituent Assembly in 1991, Escobar decided to submit to justice with the condition of being held in the Cathedral. After proving that he was still committing crimes in this place, the government decided to capture him, for which Escobar escaped. After he escape, the following year he was shot on a roof. -
