JAMESTOWN
It was set up by the Virginia company of London as James Fort on May 4, 1607. It was considered permanent after a brief abandonment and it followed through several failed attempts. Jamestown served as the capital of Virginia for 83 years from 1616 to 1699. -

Plymouth colony was an English colonial venture in North America that lasted 1620 to 1691. -

Originally a Dutch Colony founded in 1626 when they surrendered they gave it to the British. The Province of New York was a British proprietary colony and later a royal colony on the northeast coast of America. -
MASSACHUSETTS
The Massachusetts bay colony was an English settlement on the east coast of North America in the 17th century. It was infamous for the Salem witch trials. Which put twenty people to rest including an 80 year old man crushed to death by stones. -

Maryland was one of the southern colonies as well as Virginia Colony, North Carolina Colony, South Carolina Colony and Georgia colony. -
RHODE ISLAND
Roger Williams founded the colon. He promised religious freedom and political freedom. Religious refugees settled in Rhode Island. -
CONNEITICUT
The Connecticut colony or the Colony of Connecticut originally known as Connecticut River Colony or simple as River Colony. -
NEW HAMPSHIRE
The province of New Hampshire was a colony of England. It was later an American province.
