A plague spread throughout Rome
Around 165AD, a plague made its way through the Roman Empire. It started when Marcus Aurelius was ruling. Not much is known about the plague, but it influenced the military, art, and urban economy. It's believed that people would have the same symptoms of smallpox. The plague was named the Antonine plague. It lasted from Marcus Aurelius to his son, Commodus. -

Han-The spread of Buddism
Buddism was spread through China by the silk road. Buddism challenged the confusius government. Buddism believed believed there was one important relationship. That relationship was with yourself. The analects (writings of confusius) stated that there were 5 relationships, the most important being with the leader. Many people were converting and going against the government. -

Gupta- invasion of the Huns
THe white Huns came from the north and attcked the Gupta. The Gupta didn't tax enough to support their military. The military was very weak and was very small, they didn't have the proper dynamics to deffend themselves from the Huns. -

Rome is invaded by Germanic tribes.
In around 476 the western half of Rome fell to many Germanic tribes. These tribes included, The Vandals, Visigoths, Ostrogoths, Teutons, Cimbri, Quadi, Saxons, Marcomanni, Suebi, Alemanni, Franks, Chatti, Cherusci, Burgundii, Lombardii, Frisii , etc. The people within these tribes had a naturally strong physique. For hudreds of years the germanic tribes were a threat to the Roman frontier. It is also believed that the Germanics tribes slowly assimilated into the Roman Empire as well. -

Gupta- death of Buddha Gupta
After the death of Buddha Gupta, the Gupta empire was divided. There were 26 divisions. all of the divisions had their own chief that ruled. This cused the heir, Narasimha Gupta to have no power over the empire. Ishanavarmana Maukhi then took power.
